About K-CITY BBQ hot pot & sushi

K-CITY BBQ hot pot & sushi is a hot pot in Levittown, New York. It is listed at 3056 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY 11756, which places it among the local businesses of Levittown that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under barbecue restaurant, asian restaurant, japanese restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Levittown; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach K-CITY BBQ hot pot & sushi at (516) 520-0888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is kcitybbq.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 952 reviews, which is a strong result for a hot pot in Levittown and suggests consistent service.

Levittown is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Levittown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Normally, I don’t even write reviews, but the drop in quality here is so bad I have to make an exception. I’ve been here in the past and had a decent experience, which is the only reason I returned last week around 5:00 PM for dinner. I walked in in a great mood, expecting the same standard from last year. Boy, was I wrong. The first thing I saw at the meat bar was a whole tray of completely brown, oxidized meat staring at me. It wasn't just one bad piece—the entire tray looked terrible. Most of the decent grill meats were either completely gone or incredibly low quality. And don't even get me started on the sashimi. I get that these cuts are the most expensive for the restaurant, but at this price point, what they served was highway robbery. The pieces were paper-thin, falling apart, and practically chopped into tiny cubes. The staff was nice though. 3/10.

Our family went for lunch. It was lovely. Lots of options for Hot Pot, Korean BBQ, and even sushi/nigiri. We had 5 people at a table with 4 hot pot cookers, so it was little bit tight, but doable. It was my first time at an AYCE place in the US, so I was happy with it. The pork broth was a little underwhelming- but if you added the extra spices from the hot pot spice station- it was easy to jazz it up. Dessert was okay, the Egg Tarts were in the hot food section and made better by putting it on the BBQ cooker to heat up. :) Crust was flaky and flavor not bad. Sushi selection were mostly rolls and a few nigiri pieces. No sashimi during lunch. No pictures to share this time because we were just busy eating. One slightly disappointing thing was- the AC was not running very high- it was really warm! When we come back (yes, it is a returnable location), if we have the same number of people, we would likely ask for a bigger table.

The food here is ok. It’s not the best quality but I guess you can’t expect much from an AYCE place. Their desserts and appetizers however (like their egg tarts or fried calamari) tastes good and as well as the sushi. I would not recommend getting their seafood (for hotpot) because it’s not very fresh and tastes fishy. Overall, I would recommend going once in a while because the atmosphere is nice but in all honesty, the food isn’t as good. But if you’re a first timer eating hot pot and KBBQ, you’ll enjoy this place. It’s just I went to multiple hot pot and KBBQ places (not AYCE) and they taste much more better and higher quality. Total per person including drinks is around $60~

Wonderful!! This is one of my local favorites KBBQ! The staff here is extremely friendly and very attentive to their customers. We came here with a large party and they were extremely attentive. The food was really good and they offered so many options including non kbbq options for those would didn’t want to bbq!

Eating here is definitely an experience. The food labels are placed too high up, I honestly didn't even bother looking at the labels because I’m more focused on seeing the food itself. If you’re celebrating a birthday there, they’ll play a birthday song over the speakers. Eating here can feel a bit overwhelming since it combines hot pot, KBBQ, and a Chinese buffet all in one. The hot pot and KBBQ sauce stations are right next to each other, which is convenient but adds to the sensory overload. The dessert section is pretty lacking, though at least they have ice cream cup and bars. My favorite were the salmon nigiri and the salmon sushi from the sushi area.
